AEROSOLS AND AIR QUALITY

  • ACTION ITEMS FROM MAY 4-7, 2007 MEETING

For a detailed summary of the ensuing discussions please access SUMMARY OF DISCUSSIONS.   The following are the action items identified:

1)  Major collaborative research areas were identified - see Table below. Additional areas maybe proposed - please send an email to Prof. Axelbaum (WUStL)

2) Coordinators (listed in Table below) should immediately contact all others from the Partner Schools and create a list of faculty interested in the specific areas of research.

3) Email communication should be initiated within the group of interested individuals. Discussions can be around technical topics, projects to pursue, and other related collaborative efforts.  A goal should be decide to come up with at least one joint project to describe at the Hong Kong meeting in December 2008.

4) Periodic status reports (at least once a month) should be emailed to all. The first report is due July 15, 2007. After initiating the process via email, we intend to set up a wiki to utilize the dissemination of information, and promote interactions.

The following initial focus areas were identified.  The coordinators will contact the others and initiate communication on technical areas of interest.
